With the help of Natasha and a rekindled, insatiable reading appetite I found myself on a pathway that had laid dormant for many years. Having worked in education for almost a decade I found myself considering applying for a new leadership role. This was in part a natural progression but also presented a significant step up in responsibility, accountability and a change in the way in which other people would see and interact with me. 2019 proved to be a significant and exciting year for me with a number of solo art exhibitions. Having been invited to exhibit making the new work was the easy part, but I felt clueless about how to market myself and to make the most of the opportunities a public ‘real life’ platform provided me with. With Natasha’s support, I was able to explore a range of ideas and opportunities for marketing beyond plodding away on Instagram! I realised I already had a lot of the answers, but working on my own I hadn’t been able to access them – the coaching enabled me to do this. In addition to raising my Instagram game, I managed to secure some regional press coverage for my first exhibition, which increased footfall and sales. I went into the planning phase for my second exhibition feeling organised and confident. This enabled me to present myself to the venue in a highly professional manner.
