Hello, friends. I hope this blog post finds you well.
On YouTube, I’ve published my second video: ingredients for a calm weekend. In it, I share four things that help me create a calm weekend, from completing my household chores before the weekend to limiting my screen time – especially my social media consumption!
I also share a few snippets from a weekend in late April, including a wander around Oxford and a trip to a gorgeous bluebell wood. I’ll certainly be re-watching this one when we’re in the depths of winter and I’m missing the beauty of spring.
Thank you to those who have watched my first two YouTube videos (a new creative chapter and ingredients for a calm weekend) and subscribed to my channel. I honestly didn’t expect to get more than a handful of views, so I’m very grateful for the response the videos have had. It certainly motivates me to keep creating.
Trying something new
I’m enjoying experimenting with a different creative medium and learning new video-editing processes. Creating each video takes me a long time but I realise the more I practice, the easier it will become. Well, that’s the plan anyway! The one downside is I have so much footage I will need to invest in an external hard drive – not the most exciting of things to spend my money on!
I will continue to create videos featuring nature, creativity and living a simple life. Do subscribe to my channel if you’d like to keep in touch. It would be an honour to have you there.
