A simple Christmas
The older I get the less I want more stuff. This is because I prefer a simple, uncluttered home and I choose to live as sustainably as I can. For this reason, I champion the idea of clutter-free gifts for Christmas or any occasion. So, if you’re looking for some thoughtful clutter-free Christmas gift ideas I’ve created a list of suggestions.

The precious gift of your time
This Christmas why not save the time you spend in shops or online and give the gift of your time. I’m sure it’s the most precious gift you can give. To do this, you could create a simple ‘I owe you note’ with a suggestion of dinner or something your partner/relative/friend might enjoy. See it as a joyful occasion for you both to look forward to.
After many years of gift-giving, my sister and I now book a date to do something special together. Last year we enjoyed a spa day, and this year we’re going for afternoon tea at The Ivy in Marlow. It’s lovely to build a collection of happy festive memories to cherish.
If you have any clutter-free Christmas gift ideas please feel free to leave them in the comments.
