Home and interior inspiration

If you haven’t yet discovered Houzz it’s ‘a platform for home renovation and design, bringing homeowners and home professionals together in a uniquely visual community.’

Houzz was founded in 2009 by San Francisco-based Adi Tatarko and Alon Cohen who while redesigning their home were finding it difficult to communicate their vision or find the right professionals to do the job. What started as a side project has become a community of more than 40 million homeowners, home design enthusiasts and home improvement professionals from around the world.

Houzz is a place where you can create a profile to share your home or business. You can also browse and save interior photos building up a bank of inspiring images. It’s great for ideas, discovering products and locating architects, designers and contractors. If you love looking at beautiful homes, then it’s the place for you!

My home tour

On Friday, my home was featured on the Houzz UK blog as part of their blogger at home series. It was such a fun project to take part in and I enjoyed having my home photographed by the Houzz interior photographer. If you’d like to see the full tour and read my interview do pop over to the blog where you can also enter a draw to win an adorable Architectmade Parent Bird (the closing date is Friday 13 May).

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a gorgeous week.

I do love your dressing table, I have the larger version but often think I’d be better of with a smaller one.

I absolutely love everything about your home and interior style – I am all about minimalism and well designed spaces although we have way to much clutter at the moment with the baby. Oh we also have the same WC candle 🙂

Hello Candy, Thank you for sharing the amazing startup concept of Houzz. It is simply an awesome way inspiring on house interiors. People share their ideas and interiors of their own houses so that other may get the better idea while designing. Who knows you can get the perfect interiors by going through the pictures shared by others.
